For the past 7 years Weldon Shuman has served as Senior Pastor at Chapel of the Cross. 

He graduated with honors from both Nazarene Bible College with an Associate in Biblical Studies, and from Northwest Nazarene University with a BA in Religion and a MA focusing on Spiritual Formation. He grew up in Wallowa, Oregon and spent 7 years in the nuclear Submarine Force of the US Navy.

Weldon and his wife, Karon have been married for 40 years and have two children, Michael and Stephanie, and have 6 wonderful grandchildren. He loves the outdoors and especially fishing and hunting.

His passion in life is his relationship with Jesus and to enable others to experience the same.
 

Jennifer has served as Worship Pastor at Chapel of the Cross for the past 11 years. In addition to her ministry at Chapel of the Cross, she travels throughout the country as a registered Song Evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene. Jennifer is currently pursuing ordination in the Church of the Nazarene under the Music Ministry Track. She graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a major in Business Management and a minor in Vocal Performance.

Jennifer and her husband, John have been married for 13 years and have two daughters, Brianna and Savannah. Their family enjoys playing games, playing with their dog, and fishing. Jennifer also enjoys scrapbooking, decorating, and volunteering at her oldest daughter's school.

Her passion in life is helping people realize the power available to them through the Holy Spirit and freely enter into heartfelt worship.
 

For the past 5 years Cindy has been in charge of keeping the many functions of the church coordinated through management of the office. She has been the "work horse" in all our secretarial needs, and is the web master for this site.

She is a homemaker, wife of Neil Lagstrom (an aircraft mechanic), and mother to two wonderful children, Jessica and Matthew.

Her passion in life is to raise their children to love the Lord and develop their own personal relationship with Jesus.
