Youth Ministries

Chapel’s Student Ministry encourages students to grow and build strong relationships. Christ is central to who we are, the Word of God our authoritative source for all we do, and holiness our pattern for life. Our youth participate in Sunday School, Bible Quizzing, Wednesday Night Group, Fall Retreat, Winter Retreat, Music, Summer Camps, Mission Trips, Monthly Activities, Main Event- district and regional (NNU).

Dennis Linnell began working with the Youth here at Chapel in 1986, and has been the Youth Director for over 20 years.  With the help of his wife, Denise, and many other parent volunteers, Chapel enjoys an active and involved youth group.  Dennis is a Civil Engineer by profession, and the youth are able to see him actively live out his faith in his everyday world.  Dennis and the youth are active on Anchorage Zone, Alaska District, and NW Region NYI.  In his spare time, Dennis enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, snow-machining, hockey, and building stuff.
